This Pro Mini Furry Windscreen fits over the microphone installed in the Pro Mini Parabolic Kit. This furry fabric greatly improves the wind tolerance of the microphones. The built-in, primary windscreens allow use in winds of 10-15MPH; this Furry Windscreen will extend that to winds of 20-35MPH. The Secondary Windscreen works great with the Mini Stereo PIP Microphone since that microphone has only primary windscreens.

The Secondary Windscreen is held in place by an elastic cord. To install, assemble the microphone in the Pro Mini, then slip this windscreen over the microphone so that the base of the windscreen goes over the Hub and Thumbscrew until it is flush with the parabolic dish. Once it is mounted, tighten the elastic cord by pressing down on the cord lock, pulling slack in the cord until it is tight around the Hub. Then release the cord lock.
