Biodiversity of South America is the first volume of the new scientific publication of the World Biodiversity Association Memoirs on Biodiversity: 14 genera, 2 subgenera, 285 species and 3 subspecies, all new to science, described by 28 taxonomists in 19 scientific papers, represent the first contribution of the World Biodiversity Association to the knowledge of the biodiversity of South America.
