These nesting boxes are made of ecological wood concrete and resistant to all weather influences. Durable nesting boxes last much longer than wooden nesting boxes. The extended entrance prevents predators from entering the box. This wood-concrete nesting box insulates in winter and stays cool on summer days. As a result, the birds feel better and inhabit these nesting boxes much more often than the normal boxes. Because the temperature is much more constant, more clutches per season are possible.
The beautifully designed VG-2 nest box is available in two versions: flight opening 28 mm or 32 mm. Both sizes can be supplied in green or anthracite. The white front of the VG-2 can easily be removed, eg for cleaning the nest box.
The nest box is equipped with a metal hanging bracket that is attached to the box with two wire eyes. This allows you to attach the tree to a tree or facade. The back of the box has a hole through which wiring from a bird box camera can be inserted. You can order these separately here.
