You can charge up to 4 rechargeable Li-Ion or Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries in sizes 26650, 22650, 18650, 18500, 17670, 16340, 14500 etc. or 1-4 NiMH AAA, AA or 1-2 C rechargeable batteries independently of each other. Different types of batteries can also be charged simultaneously.
The Ansmann Lithium 4 Charger automatically detects the inserted NiMH and Li-Ion batteries. Only when charging LiFePO4 batteries, you must manually adjust the cell chemistry after inserting the batteries, before the automatic charging process begins.
To ensure that your rechargeable battery can still deliver optimal power even after many charging cycles, it is important that it is always charged carefully and safely. The Ansmann Lithium 4 Charger has a high-quality, microcontroller-controlled charging technology that uses various methods to protect the rechargeable battery from rapid wear and tear. These include the automatic shutdown of the charging process once the cell is fully charged and the protective trickle charging for NiMH cells after the charging process. Lithium-ion cells in particular must be handled with special care due to their high energy density. The special electronics in the Ansmann Lithium 4 Charger guarantee the highest degree of safety.

A special feature of the Ansmann Lithium 4 Charger is the easy-to-read, illuminated LCD screen, which informs you about all relevant parameters during the charging process. It shows the battery voltage, charging capacity, charging current, charging progress and battery chemistry of the selected charging bay. In addition, the status is displayed separately for each charging slot, so that you can see at a glance which battery is still charging or is already fully charged.
The charger also emits an audible signal, for example when the battery is full or the battery is defective. If desired, the audio signal can also be switched off. The Ansmann Lithium 4 Charger can be used with any conventional 5V DC USB adapter. For optimal charging, a 2.4A USB high-speed charger with Smart IC is recommended.
