      Product description

      This The AS-1 broadband measurement hydrophone is designed to deliver maximum sensitivity in a compact form while maintaining a linear response across the bandwidth required by high-quality commercial digital sound recording systems. It offers omnidirectional performance within the human auditory range and provides omnidirectional response on the horizontal axis across all frequencies (theoretical). These attributes make the AS-1 ideal for precise underwater sound measurements in both marine and industrial applications. Additionally, it can serve as an omnidirectional reference projector. This hydrophone comes with a 15 meter cable. 

      For optimal versatility, the AS-1 can be connected directly to an oscilloscope or data acquisition (DAQ) device. Alternatively, it can be paired with the PA6 preamplifier and any digital recorder or sound interface to enable high-quality, cost-effective underwater sound analysis.

      The hydrophone comes in a fitted, breathable EVA case.
