The HI97733 is an auto-diagnostic portable photometer that measures ammonia in water samples from 0.0 to 100.0 mg/L (ppm). Ammonia is an indication of animal and / or plant decay. It is one of the important pollutants monitored in natural water due to its toxicity. his photometer can be used to measure ammonia in fish farms as well as in lakes, rivers, drinking water, water in boilers, sewage, industrial and waste water. It has an advanced optical system that uses a Light Emitting Diode (LED) and a narrow band interference filter that allows for accurate and repeatable readings. The photometer is supplied with 2 cuvettes, 3 x 1.5 V AA batteries, quality certificate and a user manual.
