The microscope has a fixed eyepiece of 10x and with the three objectives a magnification of 100x, 400x or 900x can be achieved respectively.
Casing
The housing is made of metal with plastic parts, such as the 60 x 60 mm table on which the preparations must be placed. The table is equipped with two clamps to secure the preparation, so that it does not shift during observations. A focus wheel helps to change the distance between the table and the objective, with which the subject can be brought into sharp focus. The Byomic Beginners Microscope Set 100x, 400x and 900x in Case has a filter disk with four colors (red, green, blue and light blue). This helps to illuminate your preparation in a different color. This disk also has illumination holes in four different sizes with which the amount of light on the preparation can be adjusted.
Lighting
There is a mirror under the table with which you can illuminate the preparation. By capturing light with the mirror, the preparation can be illuminated. It is also possible to illuminate with an LED light, for this the mirror must be turned around so that the light at the top becomes visible. To use this LED light, 2 AA batteries (not included!) must be placed in the foot at the bottom. This can be done by loosening the screws and inserting the batteries.
