Application
The BT-3 Bat Box is suitable for bat colonies all year round. This box is easy to hang from trees with the hanging bracket. The BT-3 is a typical round box for groups of bats. The cabinet is made of wood concrete. This not only ensures a good indoor climate, but also a high degree of sustainability. Available in two sizes: 'big' and 'small'

Material
The BT-3 is made of durable wood concrete. This is a natural material without chemical additives. The wood fiber comes from a local sawmill in Poland. The box is painted with an ecological dark green paint. Due to the rough surface that is so characteristic of wood concrete, the bats have a lot of grip and can easily move around in the box. Wood concrete also has the advantage of keeping the temperature in the box stable. For removing excrement, the cabinet can be opened at the bottom. This bat box is also characterized by a low heat loss, resulting in a microclimate that is ideal for bats.
Placement and Assembly
The BT-3 Bat Box can easily be hung on a tree by using the specially shaped wire supplied. Hang the box at least 4 to 5 meters high. Preferably choose a sunny, sheltered spot, without risk of direct rain coming in. Do not place the box under or in artificial light. If there is enough space, we recommend hanging a few boxes together.
