The box is also suitable for attracting bats to new areas, e.g. as effective repellents against mosquitoes and insects. The BT-1 Bat Box is made of durable wood concrete. Suitable as a new shelter or as a replacement for bat shelters in crevices of buildings. The precise construction takes into account the requirements that bats have on this type of shelter. Currently, many buildings are being renovated and bats are losing suitable hiding places in building crevices. This box can serve as a replacement.
The BT-1 Bat Box is suitable for different types of bats, such as Pipistrellus Pipistrellus, Nyctalus noctula and Vespertilio murinus.
Location: suitable for buildings. The BT-1 Bat Box is mounted with one screw through the rear wall. If the base is not solid, it is possible to drill additional holes and secure it with several screws. The front wall is attached to it and with two screws from the side (included).
Cleaning and inspection: cleaning is not necessary, the cabinet is maintenance-free. It is possible to check visually from below, but it is also possible to disassemble the front panel.
Material: breathable and durable wood concrete. The material is very strong and ensures a high resistance to weather influences and a long lifespan of the BT-1 Bat Box, decades.
